ترامب يراسل الملك: نُجدِّد الاعتراف بمغربية الصحراء وجدية مقترح الحكم الذاتي

في رسالة موجهة إلى الملك محمد السادس بمناسبة عيد العرش، جدد رئيس الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، دونالد ترامب، اعتراف الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية بسيادة المملكة المغربية على الصحراء ودعمها لمقترح الحكم الذاتي المغربي “كأساس وحيد لحل عادل ودائم لهذا النزاع

وقال ترامب في رسالته الموجهة إلى الملك: “أود أن أؤكد مجددًا أن الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية تعترف بسيادة المغرب على الصحراء الغربية، وتدعم مقترح الحكم الذاتي المغربي، الجدي وذي المصداقية والواقعي، كحل وحيد لتحقيق تسوية عادلة ودائمة لهذا النزاع”.

وفي معرض تهانيه، باسم الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، للملك وللشعب المغربي، أكد ترامب أن “الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية تولي أهمية كبيرة للشراكة القوية والدائمة التي تربطها بالمغرب. ونعمل معًا من أجل تعزيز أولوياتنا المشتركة في سبيل السلام والأمن بالمنطقة، لا سيما من خلال البناء على اتفاقات أبراهام، ومكافحة الإرهاب، وتوسيع مجالات التعاون التجاري الذي يعود بالنفع على كل من الأمريكيين والمغاربة”

واختتم رئيس الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية رسالته بالقول: “أتطلع لمواصلة تعاوننا من أجل تعزيز الاستقرار والأمن والسلام الإقليمي”.
